$250K EXTRA win in Swift Current!

Darwin Holden won $250,000 on the May 5 EXTRA draw!

The Swift Current winner was making his morning coffee when he scanned his ticket with the Lotto Spot app.

“I had to scan it again to make sure I was seeing it correctly!” he chuckled. “I was in disbelief!”

Holden immediately showed his wife so she could see the win amount too.

“We just purchased an acreage last year so this will really help with our mortgage!” he said. “We also want to invest.”

Lastly, Holden said he’s hoping to surprise his children with something just for them.

“We’re thinking about getting a play structure for our kids,” he smiled. “It just feels great—we’re really excited.”

“With our recent move, this sure will help!”

Holden purchased his winning LOTTO MAX and EXTRA ticket from Esso at the junction of highways 1 and 37 in Gull Lake. He won his prize by matching all seven digits in the May 5 EXTRA draw: 5374946.
