$100K LOTTO MAX win in Maidstone!

Maria Gossner of Maidstone is celebrating a $100,000 LOTTO MAX win from the June 9 draw!

The Saskatchewan winner took her ticket in-store to scan it and quickly realized something exciting was happening.

“The cashier counted the zeroes and said, ‘You won!’” she recalled. “I asked what I had won and he replied $100,000!”

Still unsure, Gossner needed a little convincing.

“I was in shock and I said, ‘You’re lying to me!’” she laughed. “His daughter was there and she was jumping up and down clapping with excitement.”

After the moment sank in, she wasted no time sharing the news.

“I called my son right away to tell him the news.”

Now, the Maidstone local is starting to think about how she wants to enjoy her windfall.

“I have family in Germany, and I would love to visit them, but I’m still thinking about how I want to spend it,” she said. “Life is definitely good!”

Gossner purchased her winning LOTTO MAX ticket from A&S Corner Store located at 106 Main St. in Maidstone. She won her prize in the June 9 LOTTO MAX draw with the selection: 17, 28, 30, 38, 47, 48, and 49.
