$100K EXTRA win for Rapid View local!

Ed Toner is $100,000 richer after winning on the January 16 EXTRA draw.

“My wife checks all the tickets,” he chuckled. “I was downstairs watching a movie, and she ran downstairs and showed me the Lotto Spot app and said, ‘Read that! You won!’”

Toner jumped up when he saw the winnings on screen.

“I said, ‘Get out of here!’” he laughed. “My wife told me to do a happy dance!”

The Rapid View winner said he has played the lottery for 40 years and is thrilled to win a prize of this size.

“It will definitely help in my retirement,” he said. “And I want to give something to our two boys to help them—we are expected a new grandchild soon so it’s definitely exciting timing!”

Toner purchased his winning WESTERN MAX and EXTRA ticket from Mobil at 830 9 St. in Meadow Lake. He won his prize by matching the last six digits on the January 16 EXTRA draw: 6640995.
