This Calgarian’s $1M LOTTO 6/49 win is extra sweet!

Teresa Passavanti has been making delicious Italian foods for Calgarians for years, and now she has something sweet to celebrate!

The baker extraordinaire won $1 million on the March 20 LOTTO 6/49 Gold Ball draw.

“My husband was asleep when I called to tell him we’d won,” she laughed. “I was on my way to work and couldn’t believe my eyes.”

She said her whole family is overwhelmed by the news. “We haven’t slept in days. We’ve been in disbelief!” Passavanti is planning, of course, to spoil her family members and visit many more of them.

“We’re hoping to visit family in Germany and Italy,” she gushed. “And we have a new grandbaby we are so excited to see!”

“It’s such a mix of emotions,” she added. “But it’s so good to be able to take care of everyone now.”

Passavanti purchased her LOTTO 6/49 ticket from 7-Eleven at 5003 Centre Street in Calgary. She won her prize on the March 20 LOTTO 6/49’s Gold Ball draw with the selection - 27703502-02, a white ball.
