Canmore man wins $100K WESTERN 6/49 prize!

Ronald Adamoski is the winner of the $100,000 WESTERN 6/49 and EXTRA draw on January 24.

The Canmore man said his girlfriend was the first person he told.

“Even after they checked my ticket, I still didn’t believe it,” he said. “I sent a screenshot to my girlfriend, and she was really excited for me!”

The winner said he’s got big plans for his new prize.

“I’m going to put it in the bank and book a vacation to Bali!” he said. “It feels really exciting-- Just beautiful.”

Adamoski purchased his $4 WESTERN 6/49 and EXTRA ticket from Dead Man’s Flats Husky, located on Highway 1 West in Dead Man’s Flats. He won his prize by matching the last six digits of the EXTRA number drawn on January 24 – 5, 2, 2, 6, 6, 1 and 4.
