$143,595.50 LOTTO MAX win Red Deer County!

“I scanned my ticket and went numb!”

Nadine Coyne felt a slew of emotions after checking her LOTTO MAX ticket and learning she had won $143,595.50 on the January 23 draw.

“I scanned the ticket at the store and went numb,” she said while claiming her prize. “I started to feel more excited about it later on.”

“It feels scary and exciting all at once,” she said.

The new winner said she has big plans for her windfall.

“I’m planning a trip to New Zealand with my sister and her husband,” she explained. “We’re going for three months!”

Coyne purchased her winning ticket for $11 at the Shoppers Drug Mart located at A06 Molly Banister Drive in Red Deer County. She won her prize by matching six of the seven Main draw numbers and the Bonus number on the January 23 draw – 4, 9, 25, 41, 48 and 49, and the Bonus number 7. She won an additional $2 on the evening’s EXTRA draw.
