Lottery sales unavailable at retail in Manitoba
Due to increased provincial COVID-19 restrictions in Manitoba, lottery products will not be sold at retail in the province until further notice, effective midnight CT on Friday, November 20, 2020. The public health order – 5(7), subsections (1) and (2) – provide an exception for retail businesses in northern Manitoba, other than those in Thompson, Flin Flon, and The Pas. Terminals in areas of exception will not be suspended.
LOTTO MAX, LOTTO 6/49, DAILY GRAND, WESTERN MAX, WESTERN 649 and EXTRA can still be played by Subscription and at PlayNow.com. Other lottery games, along with SPORT SELECT and Zing scratch tickets, won’t be available.
Draws will continue, and any tickets purchased already remain eligible for prizes as usual. You can still check any tickets you have using the Lotto Spot! app. If you have any winning tickets, please keep them in a safe place until the prizes can be redeemed.
Sales at retail in other areas of our region – Alberta, Saskatchewan, and the North – are not affected at this time. We encourage anyone in those areas purchasing tickets at retail to follow all public health guidelines to do so safely.
