All paid winning lottery tickets are
now torn and then returned to you. Read
more.
It is strongly recommended
that you always take responsibility for lottery tickets that you purchase.
By following these easy steps, it will help ensure you receive any prize you are
entitled to. So please always remember to:
 |
Sign It - Always print your name clearly in ink on the
back of your ticket immediately after you purchase it.
It is now mandatory that players must print or legibly sign their name
on the back of any lottery ticket they present to a lottery Retailer for
validation through the Ticket Terminal. This ensures no one else can claim
any prize on that ticket. |
Check Your
Numbers - Always check the numbers on
your ticket against the winning numbers after the draw. This way you know the
amount of any prize won. Winning numbers are available in many places including
on this website, at lottery retail and in Luck
magazine.
|
Get all tickets back along with your Validation Slips– Paid winning tickets are torn in two and given
back to you; all other tickets are returned in one piece.
Whether your tickets have
won or not, always make sure you receive your copy of the Validation Slip
generated when your ticket is checked by the Ticket Terminal. The
Slip indicates the status of your ticket (winner or non-winner) and any
prize amount won. It makes the transaction official.
If you ever have any concerns about the awarding of a prize, you have
the right to refuse payment and take your ticket back.
